Marsha Greene-Jones, Deputy Chief for Benefits Administration, Office of Human Resources, City of Philadelphia
Marsha Greene-Jones has served as the Deputy Chief for Benefits Administration for the City of Philadelphia since 2015. In her role as the City’s benefits leader, Marsha brings international experience as a Human Resources professional, which has helped shape and implement the benefits strategy for both active and retired employees. Her continued focus on health literacy and removing barriers to equitable healthcare are key drivers of improved health outcomes—for employees, their families, and the financial sustainability of the City’s health plan. Marsha directs citywide benefits operations, Open Enrollment, and wellness initiatives, serves as a Pension Board designee, City Trustee for union Health & Welfare Funds, and oversees OHR contracts and procurement.
Dany B. Smith, SHRM-SCP, Communications & Program Consultant – Office of the Treasurer, City of Wilmington, Delaware
During her tenure as the Director of Employee Benefits, City of Wilmington, Delaware Dany B. Smith achieved remarkable success by expanding the portfolio of employee benefit services including the creation of original wellness programs such as “We Go HARD for Health” ™ while significantly reducing and avoiding healthcare expenditures by nearly $10 million. Her background includes diverse experience in consulting, executive search, process transformation, marketing, and branding for non-profits and global companies like Microsoft and Gartner.
