We are officially launching the GPBCH Healthy Employer Recognition Program, in collaboration with Get Healthy Philly. Over the past year, our Employee Health & Well-being Interest Group reviewed the employer certification programs available through organizations such as the American Heart Association, American Diabetes Association, and CEO Cancer Gold Standard, and decided that while they all promoted different aspects of health & wellness, there remained an opportunity for us to promote a healthier workforce through a local program combining employer self-assessment, consultation, and recognition. Our program also is unique in looking at aspects of chronic disease management, community health engagement, and quality and safety improvement.

GPBCH Member organizations are welcome to submit an application at no charge. This includes affiliate members, if their HR/benefits/wellness teams would like to participate. In addition, non-member employers are welcome to apply for a $500 fee (or to join GPBCH and have the Recognition Program fee waived). Please feel free to share the program information with other employers in the GPBCH service area.
