GPBCH Regional Leapfrog Hospital Quality & Safety Awards – April 29, 2026

GPBCH was pleased to welcome nearly 100 attendees to our 5th Annual GPBCH Regional Leapfrog Quality & Safety Awards. GPBCH presented awards to 20 hospitals and one ASC for their commitment to delivering safer, higher‑quality care as determined by Leapfrog Group data. Special recognition went to 3 hospitals for outstanding Maternity Care and 2 hospitals for Most Improved performance.  On the 5^th Anniversary of the GPBCH Awards, we also recognized 5 hospitals for achieving 5 Years of Straight A’s on Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grades.

Highlights from the program included a panel discussion with Dr. Matthew McCambridge of Jefferson Health and Aaron B. Schrader of State of Delaware Statewide Benefits Office who shared how a culture of safety drives improvement in reliable high‑quality care that benefits employers and their employees, dependents and local communities. Keynote Leah Binder, discussed the power of collaborative leadership at the highest performing providers and how focused leadership is driving transparency and measurement that continue to move the healthcare industry forward in delivering safe, high-quality care and keeping patients safe from harm. Additionally, we welcomed The Leapfrog Group’s Missy Danforth to present an information session about 2026 Hospital and Ambulatory Surgery Center Survey updates, which is linked below. Throughout the day, all of the Hospitals and ASCs were recognized for their leadership, commitment, collaboration and innovation in improving patient safety.

GPBCH Pharmacy Benefits Forum – March 24, 2026

During the Pharmacy Benefits Forum, nearly (150) attendees experienced a blend of expert insights and real‑world client stories to highlight the key issues employers face in a rapidly evolving pharmacy benefits landscape. The morning ‘Set the Stage’ with sessions on market trends, legislative and innovation impacts on cost, a consultant panel on contracting for competitive programs, and a debate among several alternative PBMs on transparency and market dynamics. The afternoon shifted to emerging solutions, beginning with the modular PBM model and exploring high‑impact carve‑out opportunities across key components.

GPBCH Member Soiree – February 18, 2026

We had a great turnout for our February 18th Member Soiree at IBX Live! Nearly (80) GPBCH Employer and Affiliate members joined together to network, connect, and also hear from IBX leadership on how they are positioning themselves in the community to be competitive and innovative. It was a great way to start the year with fresh connections, new ideas, and meaningful conversations!
