By November 4, 2026No Comments

On October 21st, we held our “Super Bowl”, the Annual Innovation Awards Program and Soiree at Five Below’s Corporate Headquarters. It was an AMAZING night of great conversations capped off by celebrating the accomplishments of GPBCH members, including Twin Health, Aramark, MJH Life Sciences and Penn Medicine. We also recognized Beebe Healthcare and Jefferson Health with Honorable Mention Awards, as well as the NCCN Foundation with our Partner’s Award! Thank you to all of the organizations that submitted and our two sponsors, Aon (Innovation Awards) and Cognitio Analytics (Soiree). Also, please take a moment to access the photographs from the evening.

Hear from our Award Winners below:

Aramark

Aramark, like every employer, is seeking opportunities to reduce costs and increase quality when it comes to healthcare. Over the past three years, Aramark has deployed two alternative payment models that are geared to providing more affordable medial plan option to employees while simultaneously managing our fiscal responsibilities. Hear from James Startare, Vice President, Benefits with Aramark, to learn more about their innovative solution.

Penn Medicine

Employers face a growing challenge as healthcare benefits become one of their fastest-rising workforce costs. Employees, meanwhile, face substantial out-of-pocket expenses and must navigate a complex healthcare system with inconsistent quality and limited access. Employers have few ways to directly align benefit design with the cost, quality, and accessibility of the care their employees receive. Traditional health plan contracting separates the purchaser of healthcare, the providers delivering care, and the employee consuming it. This creates an opportunity for employers and IDSs to develop more direct relationships in which benefit design and provider contracting reinforce one another to create a more sustainable model for healthcare purchasing and delivery. Hear more from Mark Angelo, MD, Chief Medical Officer for Population Health with Penn Medicine, to learn more about their innovative solution.

MJH Life Sciences

In March 2026, MJH implemented Converging Health’s MyPHA (My Personal Health Advocate), giving every member on our medical plan a named, dedicated human health advocate. The specific innovation is proactive, risk-stratified human navigation that converts benefits we already pay for into care members actually receive. Hear from Elise Fritz, Associate Director, Human Resources with MJH Life Sciences to learn more about their innovative solution.

Twin Health

At the core of Twin’s approach is its Digital Twin Care Platform, powered by the AI Digital Twin, a patented, continuously learning model of each person’s unique metabolism and behavior. Together, the Digital Twin Care Platform and human clinical Care Team deliver precise, in-the-moment guidance designed to improve, reverse, and prevent cardiometabolic disease. Twin’s innovation is the Digital Twin Care Platform, which combines an AI Digital Twin with a human Care Team to continuously deliver precision care as the member’s biology and behavior changes. Hear from Adam Johnson, Chief Strategy Officer with Twin Health, on how they are helping employers through their innovative solution.

NCCN Foundation

We are honored to award our 2nd annual Community Partner of the Year award to the NCCN Foundation. The NCCN Foundation was founded to adapt the work of the National Comprehensive Cancer Center (NCCN) for use by patients, survivors, caregivers, families and more. NCCN is a network of the top academic cancer institutions that convenes world-renowned cancer experts from Member Institutions to create guidelines used by clinicians around the globe. NCCN Foundation also advances cancer research by supporting early career researchers through the Young Investigator Award program. Hear from Pat Delaney, Executive Director with the NCCN Foundation, to learn more about their organization and how they are helping so many that are affected by cancer.
